A Divisive Associate

The former PM's foray to transplant Maga media to the UK has aligned her more closely to contentious individuals such as the journalist.

Even though Truss's stilted style and political travails have drawn derision at home, a number of stateside commentators are not discounting her efforts to revamp her image as a local version of the Make America Great Again press.

The academic said the expansion of the digital conservative movement in the United Kingdom in recent times meant the "possibility to have a growing impact is substantial."
