It's a challenge for Australia to break new ground.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has achieved everything.

That it took until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

By the time she was removed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.
